I certainly wouldn't go so far as to call them friends, nor would I call them enemies, either... despite their run-ins, there is a deep respect for the other on both sides.

I wouldn't call them friends. But they each know that they work for the common good (in most cases) with certainly different "techniques". I'm sure they don't go to Denny's together after a team-up, though.
