Question: in what episode do we learn about Uchiha Madara...ive seen every episode of naruto and naruto shippuden (the aired ones at least) but i sont remember hearing about him..can someone please remind me or tell when when he'll be mentioned.

also those two statues where naruto and sasuke fought
one of them is uchiha madara and the other the first hokage
they talk more about in the manga but it's not animated yet so wait!

Sorry there is no episode. You really don't see him though except in a flashback that Itachi is talking about. Although you kind of see him when Naruto and Sasuke are fighting in the valley of the end there are two statues one is Madara and other is the 1st Hokage.

its in the very first shippuden episode where the nine tails says to sasuke that he has a chakra which is very similar to uchiha madara.
