However, I don't think he would want that responsibility. He'll be so busy with paperwork he won't be able to read his Icha Icha. He will deny the position if there's another candidate. Hehehe...

I don't know maybe he will die. Really anything is possible. I don't think he will become Hokage,most likely I think he will die. Even though he probably could be Hokage,and do the job,but I don't think it will happen.
Also think about it if Kakashi were to become Hokage. That would mean Naruto wouldn't and that is pretty much what the whole anime/manga is about and they just wouldn't leave the series open like that,making people wonder if Naruto will even become Hokage.

I think the question is more, would he accept the position? This is Kakashi we're talking about. Jiraiya declined, not that I'm saying they're similar....well, actaully thinking about it, they are a bit *Thinks of Icha Icha Paradise*
Plus if he did accept, I don't think that'll take up Naruto's space, Tsunade may feel he's not ready yet, plus I think she's already considered Kakashi for when she dies. So it doesn't mean Naruto will never get it, he's still a teenager and if you'd like to use the Gaara argument, he's considered more mature, isn't he?

No, because Naruto becomes Hokage after Tsunade.
And Kakashi would never become Hokage because Naruto surpasses him in Shippuuden. So Naruto would have a better chance.
