Spiderwick chronicles? Ok for my 5 year old with us?!

Question: I took my 4 year old, he absolutely loved it. The scary action scenes are a bit intense, and there is a bit of violence. Overall good movie, he/she will probably need to hold your hand during certain scenes and will probably jump throughout the whole movie. You may have to explain some aspects of the movie, without being a spoiler there is a semi graphic scene towards the end, it didn't seem to bother my son,but it might come up. He was not scared after the movie and did not have any nightmares.

OMG! It is never good to take 5 year olds to the movies. They ruin the film for the rest of us!

of course, it's for kids.

DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Wait for Horton Hears A Who.

yes but some parts are a little scary like the monster growling really loud..the movie is like adventurous harry potter like..so it would be okay to take him..

ps- the movie was good

not a good idea.unless u put a good piece of tape on their mouth

no, its rated PG-13. borat was rated R and had full frontal male nudity, so a pg-13 could have strong suggestive behaviors towards sex.

yep!!!...i took my 6 year old nephew ..he loved it !...
