Why does Stewie have more freedom of speech than we do?!
Question: If you watch the cartoon "Family Guy", on TV Saturday afternoons, you'll see Stewie Griffen (the baby) using terms like "son of a *****" and "a complete ****", yet on Y!A we are banned from saying them. What ever happened to freedom of speech? Why is the internet more censored than daytimeTV?

The overuse (or any use to some) of vulgar language is offensive to many people. It's called censorship, as far as "Stewie" it's up to the parents to decide if they want their child to watch this, it's about personal preference.
Yahoo has chosen to make a Q&A Site that is user friendly to EVERYONE, regardless of age, sex, national origin, or even religious beliefs or any other niche. Some parents don't want their children seeing these vulgar and influential words on a Site that is designed to be entertaining and educational.
I use that type of language myself, a lot of people do, but it is better used in more appropriate places and a public forum is NOT one of those places.
