Yes I was kind of thinking the same thing,just a little different though. I think Sasuke is going to use a forbidden technique that he learned from Orochimaru. Now at that part either Naruto is going to step in or after I think Sasuke will kill Itachi. If that does happen. I think Naruto will arrive to get Sasuke,but Sasuke will escape and run away,rejoining his team.
Naruto then again will have missed a chance to get Sasuke back t the village. So,then Naruto will either go after him right then and there or they will go back to the village. As for Orochimaru he is already dead so,he wouldn't be around.
So,I think it will be just a constant battle between Naruto and Sasuke. probably later on there will be one final battle,of trying and bringing Sasuke back to the village.

yes sasuke will kill itachi and sasuke is going to pug itachi's eyes instead of itachi puling sasuke's eye out so sasuke will have the mankague sharingan forever

yep itachi didn't come prepaired they are really evenly matched but itachi underestimated sasuke from the beginning and if you think zetsu will protect him your an idiot because he would have done it by now plus itachi said no one was to interrupt and if you read the manga then you know that the he wont they don't care for each other they are just trying to achieve there goal
no , i highly doubt itachi will die because in shippden he beats sasuke and takes his eyes
