Why is it that no one has told Naruto who his father is?!

i think it is because that the nine tailed fox is inside him and if the fox knew that the 4th was naruto's father he may try finding a way to kill naruto thats why in the begining of naruto no one was allowed to talk about it when the 3r was still alive and i think the 3rd knew that i don't think alot of people knew that the 4th was naruto's father in the village
maybe it's because no one ever told him... also he dosen't know because as i know... his mother and his father was dead before he saw them... or born...
because they died when he was born or too young to remember.... he is an orphan.

Umm aparently he finds his mum in shippuden and he goes on ninja missions with her and she was like hidding in the hidden mist village but i dont no if its true cause i am not up to that part in shippuden but i have no idea about his dad its kind of wierd that they dont tell him about his dad i dont get why jeriah doesnt tell him he;s his god father and he named him if anyone has the answer email it to me
