Death Note:

Light Yagami is an extremely intelligent young man who resents the crime and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a drastic change in the year 2003, when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the notebook's authenticity, but after experimenting with it, Light realizes that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the new world" by passing his judgment on those he deems to be evil or who get in his way.

Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the word "Killer"), is located in Japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a game of psychological cat and mouse between the two begins.

Ouran Hight School Host Club

Haruhi Fujioka is a scholarship student at Ouran High School, a fictional school located in Bunkyō, Tokyo. Because of the superlative cost of the school uniform, Haruhi resorts to wearing long slacks, polo shirts and vests. Combined with her large glasses and tousled short hair, Haruhi's look causes her to be confused for a boy.

Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, the working place of the Ouran Host Club, a group of six attractive male students (Takashi "Mori", Mitsukuni "Hunny", Kaoru and Hikaru, Tamaki, and Kyoya) who spend their time charming and entertaining the school's girls for profit. During their first meeting, Haruhi accidentally knocks over a vase valued at ¥8,000,000, estimated to be $80,000.

In order to pay off the large debt, Haruhi is employed as the club's "dog" and constantly ordered to do menial tasks like serving food or cleaning up. The Club president, without knowing she is really a girl, promotes Haruhi to "host" as soon as he discovers her potential. Even after the truth comes out in the Club, Haruhi continues the charade and is allowed to pay off the rest of her debt working as a host; provided she conceals her true identity/gender from the customers.

Death Note is a Japanese manga series created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata. The series centers around a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone by writing the victim's name and picturing his or her face. The plot follows his attempt to create and lead a world cleansed of evil using the book, and the complex conflict between himself and those assailing him that results.

Ouran High School Host Club is a manga series by Bisco Hatori, serialized in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine since August 5, 2003. The series follows Haruhi Fujioka, a scholar student at Ouran High School, and the other members of the titular host club. The screwball romantic comedy focuses on the relationships within and without the Club and satirizes the clichés and stereotypes that endure in series aimed at girls. The manga has been adapted into a series of audio dramas, an animated television series directed by Takuya Igarashi and produced by Bones, and a visual novel by Idea Factory.

deathnote is about a notebook that gives it's owner the ability to kill if the person writes down the name and pictures the face...and the high school student that finds it and tries to use it to rid the world of evil and lead it, plus, the people who are after him.

they show it on adult cartoon.

not sure about the second.

- Death Note
A young man named Light is very intelligent but bored. One day he stumbled accross a book called Death Note. It's really a book owned by grim reaper (Shinigami). With the book he has the ability to write someone's name on it and cause of death and the person will die accordingly. He started to use it over and over again and it caused suspicion from the Police Department especially to a genius detective L. Then the chase and psychological games begin between the two rivals. ^_^

- Ouran High School Host Club

One day trying to look for a quiet place to study, she (At first everyone thought she was a he since she has an androgenous look) accidentally went inside the Host Club and broke a vase. She then was employed by the the Host Club to repay her debt. That's when and where her adventure begins. ^_^

Death Note summary:
Yagami Light stumbles upon a black notebook known as the Death Note. This notebook belongs to a shinigami, having the ability to kill anyone who has their name written in it. As the new owner of the Death Note, Light's true desires surface, yearning to cleanse the world of evil by murdering a large number of criminals. When the world begins to notice the existence of this unknown killer, legendary detective L is brought onto the case; starting a war between "Kira" and L. Whoever is able to find out the other's identity first will be the one to survive.

Ouran High School Host Club:
Fujioka Haruhi won a scholarship to attend Ouran High, which is a school reserved for the rich and prestigious. Despite what other students may think of her, Haruhi cares little for physical appearances or the fact that she's a commoner. Unfortunately for Haruhi, her high school days took a turn when she stumbled upon the Host Club, a group of guys who use their specific traits and charms to entertain the women of Ouran High. Even worse was that Haruhi had accidentally broken an 8 million yen vase in the club. Unable to repay her debt with money, Haruhi found herself with no choice but to work for the Host Club, becoming a male host herself.

Trust me you'll love these two anime!^^ Both has great storyline and animation.

Deathnote: super genius Light Yagami finds a Deathnote, a notebook used by the shinigami (death gods) to kill humans, that was dropped by the ever so bored Ryuk. Light soon realizes the potential of such a weapon and uses it to kill off criminals to "purify the world". However, he does this obviously. He wants people to know that there is a person judging the wrongdoers of the world. A detective about as smart as Light, called only by L, is put on the case and gets ever closer to figuring out Light is the killer. I haven't gotten past vol. 5, though, so that's pretty much all I have...

death note, is about a good grade student in highschool or college, and finds a book that a shinigami ( demon from shinigami realm ) dropped called the deathnote, and if u write down a persons name in it, in like 5mins the person you wrote down will die, and the student tries to use it by killing all the criminals in the world but ends up getting in deep trouble by police and etc that mysterious kills are happening.
