Old cartoon movie?!

Question: It was from i was really young and one of my favorite (im 24) Its a cartoon and all i remember is 3 huge buckets..the kid has to jump in them.. one is like burning oil stuff,, the next freezes over..then he comes out handsome .. he has a little flying horse that helps him???
