Are there any anime's like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni?!
Question: I dont want to hear Elfen Lied or Death Note. I want MULTIPLE names of animes and I want them to be like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Not like detective crap. I want it to be horror, gorey, sometimes funny, lil romance, psychological thrillers, and drama.(so basically a psycho, gorey, anime with lots of girls killing people! xD) Best answer for the one with the most thorough answer. (please tell me the names of the animes, what genres they are out of the ones I listed, what their graphics are like, how old they are and what/who they are about)

Shadow Star Narutaru

Monster
Kenzou Tenma , a brilliant Japanese brain surgeon working in Germany, saves the life of a small boy who has been shot in the head. When the hospital director and doctors of the hospital staff suddenly get murdered he gets a second chance, but also renders him as the main suspect to the murders. Life goes on for Tenma as he saves people at the hospital and he finds back to the joy of being a surgeon again.

Now Tenma must clear his name, find out more about the boy he saved in the past and reevaluate what the value of life is.

The people are soon forced to fight for their lives against the creature, each other, and an unexpected visitor. Those who survive are allowed to go free, but they soon discover that it will not be so easy, as the black ball still has control of their fates, and it likes to play games.

i dont know what that anime is but if you want gory or anime with girls kicking but you should tryone of these:
blood+, burst angel (also known as bakuretsu tenshi), chrno crusade, trinity blood or samurai champloo.
all are really good anime, with good graphics- (all but burst angel and samurai champloo you could put into the horror/action category, chrno crusade has some romance in it and burst angel has some great gun fighting scenes)

you can watch Higurashi no koro ni kai the second series when it comes out and the third when it comes out. "kai" is the second one. e-mail me if yo uwanna know the name of the third one. ( i for got the third one's name) i never got through the first one. too bloody *WATANAGASHI* i can see shion's crazi eyes when i go to sleep. shudder
