Question: You know how when Tsunade first becomes Hokage she is flipping through a book with all the squads on them and she says that its obvious wat the 3rd waz doin cause it mirrors there parents teams...how is that possible cause in the team there is shikamaru choji and ino
but there parents r all boys and i thought there had to be a girl in the team!? Get it?

Yes,I have thought the same things about it. Well there's a couple of things I can come up with. One if you remember Tsunade had suggested that there should be at least one medical ninja on each team. So,its possible at the time that there were mainly girls who would be a medical ninja. So,its possible at that time there were no female medical ninjas.
Also another theory is that,they could of had been short handed with female ninjas and had to assign an all guy team.
Or its possible that there was a girl on there team,and she could of gotten killed.
Also in the beginning when they first choose the team it needed to be balanced with the right people,like smarts,skills etc. So,its possible the only person to fill there team to balance it out was another guy.

well, even tho all their fathers know each other, there was never any MAJOR backstory on the character. it was probably two guys,and, a girl,but, maybe one the girl died,or, ran off,or, something! LOL! HOPE THIS HELPS!
Well her inos parent on the team could be a guy.
Um... I dont remember them saying anything about needing one girl per team.....
but they did say one medical ninja per team.....

I dont think its really nessesary that u need to have a girl on ur team.
She just meant that the 3rd was putting the teams the way they were the last time. For example INO, CHIKA, CHO trio or whatever it was will still be the same because Ino is Ino's last name I guess, and no I don't mean her name is Ino Ino. I don't know what her first name is if her last name is Ino. Waaaaaaa!!!!!! Now you've confused me!

Nope, it never specified that there had to be two males and a female on a team. However it is kind of weird, how the Genin all ended up being two males and female -- but once again - it was never stated as a rule.
The only thing that was suggested was that each team should have a medical ninja -- but other than that - nothing.

tehre parents were on a team together also
that was explained slightly before in the majority the women are some form of support to the squads they are tactics or strategy or medic or whatever kind of support
she kind explains why there were no women on the teams because when the teams were made it was during a waring time and this can be seen during her flash back to when her love intrest had died and she was pleading for the 3rd to make a medic join each team
or at least this is what i believe

if you didn't know I'll fill you in, the fathers were on the exact same squad and sense ino is a girl (barley LOL) it mixed it up a little.
but they know most of the Justus (sp?) there fathers knew. so is somewhat the same.
The pairings are based on Skill and Grades. They have to be even. Naruto(lowest score) was teamed up with Sakura(average) and Sasuke(Highest) Thus making the team balanced.
She wasn't refering to the gender make-up of the teams. She was refering to the tactical make-up of the teams: One brawler (Naruto, Choji, Lee, Kiba), one technical fighter (Sasuke, Shikimaru, TenTen, Shino), and one Med-nin (Sakura, Ino, Neji, Hinata).
**Note: Not sure about Neji and TenTen there, but that team's never made much sense to me. Just seems to me that Neji's fighting style much more closely resembles that of the good Med-nins (Kabuto, Shizune, Tsunade) than TenTen does.
yes that is the team shes thinkin about. even though they are all guys the parents tought them the same justsu they used to know...and the personalitys are the same. inos dad has a long pony tail, shikas dad is lazy and chojis dad is "pleasantly plump". p.s theres not always a girl in the team... they just do that now because htey dont want to say that only guys can be ninja, also because girls make everything better,and more dramatic. :-)
I don't really know about others since their parents' don't seem related at all. 8D
If Hinata, Shino and Kiba are in a team, does it mean that their parents Hiashi (Hinata's father), Shibi (Shino's father) and Tsume (Kiba's mother) were once in a team?

Or since Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are in a team, does it mean that Yondaime's teammates are Sasuke and Sakura's parents in a way? Well, if it's so, then I can guarantee that the girl in Yondaime's team was Mikoto, Sasuke's mother 8D

But Ino-Shika-Chou is possible, because the parents were considered the team with best teamwork in Konoha.
A team doesn't necessarily have a girl. Before the Third Ninja Wars (or most likely Second), medical nins were considered not important in a team because a lot of time have to be devoted to produce a medical nin (like, they are only for emergency cases or in hospitals, something like that). And who says that medical ninjas have to be girls?
I'm kinda busy, though, so this may turn out to become an incoherent rambling... 8D
Neji, Tenten, Lee are all Taijutsu users. Hinata, Shino, and Kiba are all trackers/persuers. I would not really know how to categorize InoShikaCho or Naruto's team tho. :/
