Actually, you are close. Thankfully, you aren't on that much, and you redeem yourself by liking Rin like all of us do. Yeah, you'd be one of the good casualties in the series' ending, but you get by. Frankly, I thought most of the Band of 7 were annoying, too.
1. Not as annoying as the cast of Azumanga Daioh, but pretty annoying.
