Well, right now I listed to the opening songs "Play the Game" and "Saraba Aoki Omkage" from the anime "Major" like every 5 mins... lol!! When I went outside today, those were the only 2 songs I really listened to on my ipod ^^

My favorite opening is Death Note's "The World"; I think the images, the rythm, the voice and specially the lyrics match perfectly with the whole premise of the Anime... It's not my favorite song, to be honest... But, I think it's the perfect opening since these elements combined match so well...
Anyway; my favorite song is "Link" by L'arc en Ciel; this one was used in the opening of the movie of Fullmetal Alchemist; "The Conqueror of Shambala"... the lyrics perfectly describe the strong bond between the Elric brothers...
For opening, I'd probably say Rozen Maiden Traümend. It's elegant and fitting, even more so than the first season.
As for ending, that's difficult. A good series often leaves the end theme overshadowed. You're watching, awesome stuff happens, it settles down, then there's just this music there. About the only time ending music really seems to be heard is in the longer series that have filler episodes, so it's not so overshadowed.
