I speak some Japanese... I don't get the second part of the question... If it's Anime, of course the character has to speak Japanese... US has Anime based cartoons; but they are not considered as Anime... And I don't care if some of you prefer to watch the Anime dubbing; it's always better to watch it in the original language... Japanese rules!! So, yeah...
