Any Formula Subs (anime) users please help!?!

Question: Hello! Well, I started downloading some anime episodes using BitTorrent from Formula Subs. The problem is, when the episodes download, the subtitles don't appear! The quality and sound are great, but there are no subs! Is there a programme I have to download? Please help! Thank you! ^.^

All you're missing is the subs right? What episode(s) did you download? Formula stopped releasing XviD, only h264 starting from episode 11 to now. And I'm writing this assuming you're using Media Player Classic.

If you got the .mkv releases, I think they're softsubbed. I'm not sure myself since I always rename to .avi, but I'm guessing all you need to do is click on "Play", go down to "Subtitles" (between Audio and Volume) and there should be some option there.

Here's Formula's release list for Shugo Chara:

Clicking on episode 18 takes you here:

On that page you see:
"Tracks
No. What How Other Action
1:V:1 704x400 anamorphic 16:9 23.976 fps H264/AVC (678 kBit/s) hist
2:A:1 japanese normal audio 2.0 Stereo Vorbis (Ogg Vorbis) (144 kBit/s) hist
3:S:1 english soft styled subs (A$$*/SSA) hist
4:S:2 english soft unstyled subs (SRT) hist "

I don't really download softsubs but I think that's all you need to do to make them appear, go to Play and choose Subtitles.

*= Actually A S S without spaces, but it turns into *** so...
