I don't really prefer one or the other, but Sasuke is more skilled and more of a "ninja". Also, in the current arc, it's nice to finally see him so desperate, instead of him usually being as powerful as a god.

i choose sasuke even i hate him (cuz he killed my favorite naruto charactr, deidara n orochimaru). And i think now sasuke's jutsus and powers are better than kakashi's. Kakashi's jutsus are too usual, except for his raikiri, maybe.. hmph.
