Why is astro boy on adult swim?!

Question: i couldn't find anything morally wrong with it, or maybe it was too subtle for me.

If you think something has to be morally objectionable to be on Adult Swim, a great number of things will be too subtle for you. 'Astro Boy' is going to appeal to those who remember the character from years of previous appearances in the past, and who will find him a nostalgic character. He should be an important figure to the members of the Anime Army because of his historical importance to the worldwide acceptance of Nippon anime, but most of the Anime Army only care about what is current and have no sense of history so I imagine his appeal is going to be pretty selective. Frankly, I don't expect to see Astro Boy around for long, which is a pity because he holds up remarkably well.

Because they hate us. It is not good, that is all.

cuz astro boy is still vary popular

They wanted a cartoon on adult swim?

There are quite a few things about the concepts of the show in general that have some double-entendre in them (though they probably were not intentional).

But really, it's more business than anything else, I'd bet. You are talking about a very late night time slot, when few people are awake. As such, ratings are always going to be low, and advertising money will be as well as a result. So you don't break the bank licencing a show for that tiem slot. Shows that are going to be cheaper will tend to be old shows, which is why the leta-night Adult Swim has been home to Astro Boy, Lupin III, and Popeye, among others. All of them have quite a bit of significance to the animation landscape, but aren't going to draw crowds today, either.
