Is there any adult anime series or movies?!
Question: I am not talking about porn or anything related to sex. I just want an anime that does not have a little 5 year old kid as the hero even if the hero is 15 years old it makes no difference to me. Furthermore, I want adult plots like politics or fighting (gory stuff).

Only one I can think off is Afro Samurai that is pretty gory stuff
Monster, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Darker than Black, Gungrave and maybe Death Note and Code Geass
Monster would be my number 1 suggestion though.
they have blood+ its really gory and they also have a movie called blood: the last vampire.
you need to watch the movie first to get the whole story of blood+

Cowboy Bebop was pretty good.

Elfen Lied might be right up your alley. There is nudity, but presented in a non-sensual way. Mostly there is A LOT of blood and violence. It is a psychodrama that takes a trip down some of the darker roads of human nature.
Not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach, but an excellent series.

There are a lot of more psychological animes and manga out there. Try out some Junji Ito if you like horror stuff. Monster, MPD Psycho.
