umm well If you want to know whether she lives or dies read the manga...or i'll just tell you she is alive. The manga continues on from that point she returns home, but people are still trying to capture her and she ends up killing Bando(guy with the bionic arm) she also becomes way stronger then she was before. Losing the horns didnt make her lose her powers and the horns grew back bigger.
Nope, I think she's alive and is too ashamed to meet with Kouta again. Or maybe she's scared that he hates her. Or maybe she thinks if she gets near him again she'll turn into Nyu... We'll never truly know I guess.
I think Lucy is alive.
At the end when the shadow appeared in the doorway I figured that was Lucy. I think after she lost her horns, she came back to see Kouta -- but she didn't come in. I don't think she's evil anymore, but I also think she's not going to visit Kouta and them again.
I was hoping that Kouta would open the door and reveal Lucy and they would live happily ever after :) But the clock rang and then the anime ended, but I honestly believe that Lucy is still alive and not dead ^^
