if your talking about world wide i would have to say gundam, dbz, sailor moon, voltron, macross, and neon genesis. note you asked world wide, what is considered successful in america is completly different as we are limited to what has been shown and brought to us. and cmon all the new animes are right now but they are labeled successful until their show is done and goes into the history books, i will admit though naruto is ranking up there with dbz
