What is Shippu! Konoha Gakuen Den?!

Question: I've seen so many screenshots of it, and it was used for an ending credit for Naruto Shippuden, but what is it, exactly? I've gotten the gist that it's a series of some sort, but did Masashi Kishimoto draw it, or is it a doujinshi? And how did it start, exactly? Also, is there a translated version of it? Because all the versions I've seen of it are in Japanese...

As far as I know, it's just a mini-series of manga panels which the Naruto anime-animators (not Masashi Kishimoto) drew of the Naruto characters in an AU High School - so it's not doujinshi. There isn't a translated version as of yet, but I know many people are waiting for one, so it'll hopefully come soon.

The ending credits are a cut-down version of Shippu! Konoha Gakuen Den. The real "episode" is about 8 minutes long on YouTube.
