When Naruto saw Hinata he noticed how gorogeous she looked, even though he didnt know it was her. Also it shows Hinata being confident which you rarely see. More Importantly, it was an awesome NaruHina moment.

Lol,because it shows Hinata's beauty,for the first time Naruto saw Hinata's beauty from the waterfall and Naruto saw,that and it makes a connection between each other. Even though Naruto doesn't know,who it was.
