I remember one cartoon where the coyote caught Roadrunner, then turned to face the screen with a little placard in his hand that said 'Okay, so NOW what do I do?', though.
I think Dick Dastardly and Muttley are the best 'baddies'. The Hooded Claw never cut it for me, and the baddie in Scooby Doo was always the only other person they met in the episode.
Basically NO, otherwise that would have been the end of the show!
