I reckon people like anime because it's not like the other type of cartoons that are usually childish. Anime is a more complex animation that cover heaps of genres like romance, comedy, action (my personal favourite) and heaps mores.
It's also funny with a lot more laughs than normal cartoons and the storylines are very different. But I like anime because it's have more action and romance than most western cartoons =D
it fills their need for action and art
and they get that in a 30 min show!

People like it because its different from all the other shows on tv. Honestly the reason i like it is because i can relate all the characters and situations to my life.
Bc it opens up a new area of life. Anime is an art form involving culture and entertainment for the masses.

cuz its better than reg cartoons and its drawn better and there are many genres and lots of anime.........cuz its cool
so when u bored, just watch anime and u will not bored at all dear...!!!coz anime is sumethin u juz can explain it urself!!the excitement, the feeling, the klimax.....the fiction...its all in there...

because the story lines are more intense. the characters have better development so you can relate to them. and the art of it is pretty cool.
Because it's a form of entertainment.
