Not at all. I read Archie comics through high school. Besides, even if it was weird, who cares? You like the comic? Read it. and forget about what anyone else has to say about it!

I grew up in a nuclear family, and I am not considered to be weird by people that know me.

No way......people over the age of 50 read Archie Comics......Archie is hilarious.... it isn't weird for anyone to like it......I have tons of them......I've been an Archie fan since I was 9 or 10!!!!
