i was on vaca in virginia and we were staying at a hotel, it was like 1:30 am and i turned to cartoonnetwork and inuyasha was on but i didnt know that was what it was called, i never really payed attention to what i used to call "the cartoons" on adult swim but i was bored so i watched it and got intrigued. then i started watching it when i was home when it like, came on tv. that summer i went to my aunts house for a month and there was nothing to do so i watched it every night and when i got home i watched the remaining episodes and movies online, i was pretty sad when it was over. then in the beginning of december my friend told me there was an anime for peach girl which was a manga i sorta read when i went to the library, so i watched peach girl online and once i finished, i was like, hooked on anime.

I love cookies! THANKS! yumyum yum!

Anyway. I had a cousin who introduced me to anime when I was 4. The first ever anime I watched was Kiki's Delivery Service. lol. And to this day it's still my favorite. . . I miss Phil Hartman as Jiji and how old was Kirsten Dunce when she did Kiki's voice? oh well

ANYWHO! I watched it, then I got interested in other anime as well. The ones I remember the most from back then are Pokemon, Beyblade, and a few others. But I LOVE anime!

Thanks again for the cookie! It was good num yum num yum yum!

My mom played me My Neighbor Totoro when I was three.

i saw the great action, and animation in anime

the chicks

I was on the school bus talking to my bestfriend when I looked over the seat where my other friend was sitting, and they had a manga book(FushigiYugi) and I thought the girl on the cover was pretty, so I wanted to see and so did my friend, so she handed it to me, and I got interested so I searched for more when I found CardCaptor Sakura and thats when I got addicted, soon after finding out about the anime's and how most manga got turned into them. I became happier! :3

My friend was really bored and started talking about Naruto... she only knew the English version in and out, but I researched further, reading the Japanese manga and watching the subbed and non-subbed versions. She would only talk about. Then I watched Bleach, Death Note, and I got bored again. I met a girl in school who told me me to watch Bokura no, but that only kept my attention for a week. Then I watched soft stuff like OHSHC and Mew Mew which was truly terrible. (Refefring to Mew Mew.) Wished I could watch Inuyasha cuz someone reccommended it... It's become mainstream and 'popular' in my school. (anime, that is.)

I think it was one morning I turned on the tv before school and saw the anime Sailor Moon and was hooked! I had to watch it every morning before school. I loved that anime. Then I realized that Dragonball Z, Voltron and others like it were called anime and that I had actually loved anime for a really long time. :) My favorite anime is Cardcaptor Sakura though. :) All the kids in my neighborhood loved Sailor Moon and would watch it every morning then after school we'd all get together and talk about it. They didn't even like anime and still don't, but they loved Sailor Moon. I'm the only one that continued to love anime, but that just shows you how great a show Sailor Moon was. :)

I was friends with people who were into it. I wondered why they only ever read manga and tried a series to see what they saw in it. I loved the plot, the characters and everything about it. After that I found out that some manga series were made in to animations and quickly got into watching them as well.

When I was younger, my brother used to love to watch Sailor Moon and I kind of got into it a bit from that. But when I started to seriously watch it was when a friend of mine got me into Fushigi Yuugi. And then of course I started college and went nuts. Downloaded gigs and gigs worth of anime, I think I have 4-5 drives just filled with anime:)

MY STORY:
i was about to go play with friends, i was about to turn the t.v off. The show Naruto came on. i started to watch a couple minutes of it, i got really interested in it. started watching it everyday on cartoon network. then later on i went on the computer to watch the next episode of naruto. finished the whole naruto episodes(not shippuuden) started to watch other animes then yea!

some anime movies, but the one that rele got me into anime was naruto
[:
then i got rele crazy about manga and anime :D

i have no clue when i got hooked. i dont even remember the first one i watched although it was most likely pokemon or sailor moon. i think i got even more addicted when i started drawing my own characters. i wasnt as hooked on anime as i am now. but ever since we got internet, ive been watching anime and listening to anime music non stop i cant control myself.

this was way back when sci fi had ites nightly anime on every weekend, i miss those days. I watched an anime movie called Galaxy Express 999 which struck me with such awe, becuase it made me question a great many things, like the price of mortality, then I saw tenchi muyo in love and my fate as an anime fan was sealed

Ehmm… I don’t remember exactly…
I grew up watching Doraemon, Saint Seiya, Sailormoon and Mr. Ajiko, reading Doraemon, Candy-candy, and Glass Mask manga more than 10 years ago, but I really hooked up about 2 or 3 years ago after I watch Kyo Kara Maouh! in Animax.
