If you're talking about your Avatar (the little picture above everyone's name) that's got to do with your Yahoo! settings.
Go to your profile, and click "edit my info"
Then, under Picture, click "Edit my Yahoo! avatar" (or it might say create an avatar since you don't have one yet) and then follow the instructions on the Yahoo! Avatars site.

You mean avatars?? Go to the My Profile page, you go there anyway when you signing into Yahoo Answer and then change what you look like - - - - right whre it lets you pick avatar there is options to make Yahoo Avatar =))) Good luck
