You should ONLY start Shippuden if you understand the storyline before Shippuden.

Manga is usually more accurate than the anime, especially if manga comes out before anime did. And yes, Naruto manga is more accurate than the anime.

I don't know when Kakashi comes out in Shippuden........ XD
I'm not up to there...

You should read at most half a volume per day, or at the end of the chapter where problem is resolved..... (so that you won't get too excited when you stop in the middle of the conflict)

EDIT:
YEAH!!! First answer! >:D
lol, I have been typing for like 3 minutes, expecting someone else steal the first place spot, but aw well! ^_^

You really should start at the beginning because otherwise you miss out on a lot of the story and what they mean when they're talking about certain things. I read a little over 3 volumes a day or more, but those chapters go pretty fast and I was still taking it kind of slow, but a volume a day would still be going pretty easy.

As for which chapters have Kakashi in them, you would be better in finding out which ones don't have Kakashi in them, but you should definitely make sure you read the Kakashi Gaiden as it gives more of his personal background, like how he got his eye.

You really need to read the manga from the start in order to understand the background.

It all forms the foundation for the events in the Shippuden. I've noticed that sometimes there'll be extra info in the manga and sometimes extra info in the episodes so watch both.

Besides, there's way more Kakashi in the start then there has been so far in the Shippuden.

you should only read the shippuuden part if you totally get the other half (which should be watched 3 times in order to get the whole series).

it's the same except some of the fillers are different

the beginning of the shippuuden and then later on after that becuase i don't know the chapter number (yeah i'm lame)

i think you can finish them in a day
and i think you won't stop reading 1 or 2 you would want to keep going just like me
but maybe not so then i say at least 12 chapters a day which should be about less then 15 mins

it is cool
but i
feel boring in manga
but its cool
your are update
in the
episode
.if you read an manga
sure your a patient person and you
can read fast in computer

that't my advice
to you

choice me the best

well you could just read from shippuden if you have already watched the first part on tv because the anime follows the manga pretty well if you have not watched the first part on tv and your just gunna start at shippuden you wont know what the hell is going on and one of the best parts is experiencing naruto's transformation from idiot to strong mature ninja if you don't then your missing out
