Question: Where did the Avatar: the air bender episodes on tv come from?
I'm thinking Manga? But I'm not sure...
I really want to read them or the book... I can't keep up with all of the episodes...

It's all based on Chinese and Indian culture, but it was created by an American group.
The T.V. show was created before the books, but the books caught up and are finished now. I can't wait to read Sozin's Comet!!!

Avatar is an American-made animated series. I don't know if a manga's been published based on the anime (unlikely), but there are definitely book versions out. The original, though, is the tv show.
The original Avatar was the TV show on Nick. However, its popularity spurred the books. There currently is no manga on it.
