Ya Pokemon and Digimon probably had the most characters there are like over 5,000 pokemon I think same with digimon

Yeah definitely pokemon- If each of the little (and big) pokemons are considered characters........Then there would be like 2000+ pokemon characters and some human characters *__* too many to keep track of......
yes i belive its pokemon...not counting the pokemons...Ash always meets someone new in each episode...i doubt Digimon has more coz its always some chosen kids in the Digimon world...hardly any people
then id say DBZ too...no of villians just keep rising
