Frankly, I don't believe you about wearing a Superman costume to school. You seem obsessed with Superman's costume, which is modeled after the sort of clothing circus performers wore in the late 19th and early 20th century. I think the costume looks fine on Superman, but I would be exceedingly leery of anyone who wore a replica with the odd explanation you are offering.
