Kodocha (Kodomo no Omocha) is a tv series ~ 102 eps from what i've found out.
However there is also the OVA (original video animation) which is a thirty-minute animation video that was made before the TV series. It covers the first volume of the manga, so it's equivalent to TV episodes 1-6.

Kodomo no Omocha is a shojo-comic that ran on Ribon magazine from late 90's till early 00's. But they made it into a series of TV shows, due to its immense popularity and eventually they came out with OVA's. :)
I really recommend reading the original manga, it's really well made!
