You need more BA's man. Something like 15-25 a week is usually good.
First of all, did you answer enough questions and less asking? I think you should still have TC badge if you gain certain amount of points per week (at least 100 points I say...) Well, if you ask too much, those -5 points will bring down your total points per week, which you may not realize this.
Second of all, did you receive any Violation Notice after you get your TC badge? You may lose it if you do get violated.
Third, and last, I finally reached EXACTLY 5000 points! (....Level Up....) ^_^

How to get back your badge?
Continue answering C&A questions, and try to aim couple of Best Answers (and keep your percentage at least 10%). Answer enough questions, ask a bit less questions, and if you make like few hundreds for a week, there is a high chance you'll get a badge back. =)

You lost your badge?? I just got mine. Want to trade? Maybe you aren't getting enough Best Answers? Your percentage is still goof though. Just keep answering questions & soon the badge will come back. It surprised the heck out of me when I saw mine last night. Sake do it for you? What about margaritas on the rocks with salt? You get more of a buzz that way. But I could be contributing to the delinquency of a minoor, especially if you'under 21 (drinking age in Ca)!!

Aw Mizutoki that sucks, you must feel the same way i did yesterday, do ya need a hug. Yeah my percentage is 15% and i havn't been answering in anyother section other then C&A, if i did it wasn't much, so i don't get why i lost it, man its going to take me a while to get it back, it took me a month last time.
