Godzilla vs. King Kong question?!
Question: How was it possible for Godzilla and King Kong to fight to a "stalemate" when Godzilla had so much more unnatural powers, such as spewing out plasma, radiation, flying, tail whips, etc.?
King Kong had no powers other than his size, strength (I assume fairly equal to Godzilla), and perhaps greater intelligence.

It is impossible for a stalemate in this match-up. As you rightly pointed out, Gozilla's unnatural powers would make this fight a short slaughter. But even if you take away the plasma and radiation....Large Lizard vs. Gorilla......bye Gorilla.

They may make a new movie called:
GODZILLA VS KING KONG: REMATCH
I know... Godzilla will kick kong's behind but i guess they were thinking of the future, a sequel.
A new ending to the movie was filmed for American distribution, in which King Kong thrashes Godzilla so badly that Godzilla swims back to Japan; since neither character died, I guess you could call that a "stalemate," but Godzilla was defeated and Kong clearly.
The original version distributed in Japan had Godzilla defeating King Kong. The American distributor thought American audiences wouldn't accept the original ending, because Americans like monkeys better than lizards.
Go figure.

Movie companies just make King Kong seem greater than he actually is because of popularity.
He was more popular than Godzilla in Japan during the time King Kong vs. Godzilla was being made, so he won against Godzilla in that movie.
I think Godzilla will win because he's got a skill that will able him to transform to "Super Godzilla" the strongest version of Godzilla accroding to some website it's possible that godzilla has some abilities that we don't know yet. King Kong can't win against godzilla's abilities.
