Well God of War does not consider as anime, because anime is animation made in Japan, and God of War isn't made in Japan.
It depends cause my Dad told me practically every Anime comes from or is made from Japan- which is the awesomest place!!!!! So if there's any Japanese episodes or some Japanese names, or writing..then u'll know!

Country of origin aside (since it's sort of a topic of debate as to weather anime come strictly from Japan or not), God of War is a game. The cutscenes in a game do not count as anime. Akira Toriyama has animated cutscenes and I don't even think those would count.
Anime is Japanese
If Gof of War was created in Japan the it counts.
I'm not sure if it was or not, I don't know anything about that.
Also it is a style of art. So if someone is drawing in that particular style and fashion then yes I think so.
Then again I'm not sure.
