One Piece; overrated?!
Question: I just fail to see how the story matches up to say, Dragon Ball, or Naruto. It seems all out of the place and not heading anyway.

What the fu(k are u talkin about One Piece has a great story and it is heading somewhere. Its called their on a journey to the last island of the grand line where all their dreams and ambitions will come true. They started as a small crew in one part of the world to now the New World and in the process has become stronger and the crew has a stronger bond. One Piece is much more popular than Naruto in Japan. In my opinion its the most underrated anime in america all because 4kids and funimation had to fu(k it up when they dubbed it by combining episodes and editing everything out to screw up the story.

i am a fan of both naruto and one piece
there are some aspects of naruto that makes it better than one piece, but there are things that one piece has that naruto doesnt or things that one piece does better. they are both good in different ways, so no i dont think one piece is overrated but if you do then that is fine!
as for the story, it is going somewhere, its just less "driven" then naruto and less fast paced plot-wise. i do think that some of the arcs in one piece are kind of ptless but it just means the story will last longer (which some could say is a bad thing)
but even though one piece is less driven than naruto it still moves me in a way that naruto hasn't in a long time, it really makes me want to go find an old wooden boat and just go out on the ocean and do things, achieve. and one piece has amazing comedy in just the right places, though naruto does have well placed comedy too, one piece does it better.
either way, i luv both of them! naruto was my first, but one piece moves me unlike any other....
