I'm "oldschool" but not old, for me it was the origional Voltron Cartoons when I was a kid, in the 80's, and also the Vampire Hunter D movie that was released in the US in 1985

Ya, it first started with Naruto. It was always on and I never bothered to watch it,in fact I almost hated it at the time. In August of this year when they had the Naruto marathon from episodes 1-100 i started watching because nothing else was on. Once I saw the some of the episodes and I was getting into it I was hooked,I was so into it I watched the whole marathon from start to finish for the three days it was. After that I loved Naruto ever since and I think its the best show ever made, and after that I started getting into more anime/manga too. It all I read and watch now. I love the action and plot's in it and on the side relationships especially between Naruto and Hinata.

Naruto Rocks!!!!!

At a younger age, I primarily watched Nickolodeon shows until I discovered Cartoon Network. My first anime I watched was Dragon Ball Z where Goku was figthing Nappa. When I saw the animation, I was completely blown away at how the characters' moved and story line. After Dragon Ball Z, it was Sailor Moon and everything else on Toonami.

Honestly Naruto was what introduced my to anime... also Love Hina. Love Hina I just happened upon finding a trailer once upon a time on the internet, then I later found 2 of it's mangas at a friends house, then I got addicted to it, then I bought all the mangas, then I realized there was a show of it, then I watched the show. Naruto I saw on TV once and got addicted to it (Yay, long story for Naruto).

Though I did see DBZ and Sailor Moon as a young sap... but that was before i knew what anime was, not to mention I didn't understand half the **** going on in the shows -.-

I know i watched Zenki and Bt-X when i was a kid but i didn't know they were Anime.. but the first show that got me into anime is Boys be, then Rurouni Kenshin to Cooking Master Boy.. and so on.. Gate keepers as well..

It started with salior moon when I was about 5 or 6 and then I stopped and about 5 years later I started watching Inuyasha

I developed an interest in anime through one of my friends in middle school, before the Pokemon craze. Anime wasn't popular back then, my chances of watching anime, let alone television/movies was limited. Most of the stuff I watched came from borrowing DVDs. Tenchi Muyo, Lupin, and Record of the Lodoss War was among the earliest anime I watched.

The wide distrubition of anime is a double-edged sword. There are more choices and it's easier to find want you want. Unfortunately, there is also a lot of bad anime that one have wade through for every good anime found.

^^ long ago my firsts were DBZ, pokemon, and digimon when i was much younger. i loved how different it was from american cartoons- like how the story continued, how the characters grew up and changed, and in general just the animation! i was hooked from the very start. then when we got cartoon network i was introduced to tenchi and kenshin and more. now i like it more than ever, i've continued watching cartoon network, but now i watch online to get my fix as well ^^

My friend was dating a guy who loved anime. She bugged me to watch this show called "Fushigi Yuugi" (she had the series on VHS fansubs- this is how old I am!). I agreed thinking I could watch a couple episodes to pacify. We ended up watching 13 episodes that night, and only stopped because that was all she had with her!

A few months later "Princess Mononoke" came into US theaters and it was all over for me. ^_^

my first one was vampire hunter D... i was about 10 or so.. my brothers loved DBZ so i would watch it so could draw posters for them and i got into it from there. and tht was all she wrote.. i was hooked so now i try to watch as much as i can.. i love Fushigi Yuugi, gun slinger girl, burst angle... lol there are so many.. i get excited just talk about it

I started quite a few years ago....or at least I think so...I was 11, I believe. And I stay up late every night because thats just what I do, but anyway, I was flipping through the channels and nothing was on. So I kept flipping and I saw that a show was on, an anime show. I thought it was cool so I kept it on. They were fighting with sowrds, and there were demons, cruel attitudes, and an awesome plot to what I was watching. After it was over I researched it and found out that it was called Inuyasha. Ever since then I've been watching anime. I've watched the whole Inuyasha season twice, and I own almost all of it on dvd. But I also bought Samurai Champloo, and I watch so many more.

1.) naruto!
2.) That maraton/naggin' yamanaka?.
3.)September? somewhere around there.

Naruto.

There was this three day marathon of it on Cartoon Network. It was morning before school, and i turned Cartoon Network on, it was showing like the 2nd episode of it. I always watch cartoon network in the morning, and that happened to be on. So i was watching it and i really liked it, thats all i could think about at school. So i got home and watched it, and i didnt leave the house untill the marathon was over. I love it ^^
