How do you burn anime episodes into a dvd?!

Question: can anyone tell me how to burn an anime series into a dvd?
i really want to watch an anime (kodocha) in our TV.
i don't want to buy because it's kind of expensive and
i don't want to watch it online because my sister uses the computer a lot and she often kicks me out of my seat when i'm using the computer so....can anyone help me?
and the anime i was talking about is kind of long...102 episodes all in all with 25 minutes running time per episode...
what kind of disc (how many gigabytes) do i need that can fit 12 episodes in it or more so that i will only buy 10 discs..

thank you very much!

p.s. I would really really appreciate it if you answer in full details, from the downloading to the burning...

thank you again!

I use Nero Vision, it's super easy to use, and the number of episodes you can fit on a disc will vary with the quality you want.
You can probably get 8 episodes on one disc and still have decent quality.

Yes, it actually does convert video files, I do it all the time.

IT's not as simple as using nero because nero don't convert anime into video files and some dvd players don't read avi. files.
If you know where to download software for free, try looking up *Win.AVI.Video.Converter*. It convertsmany different files format to video file to burn onto a DVD. Trust me i have a collection of anime and that's how i get it.
