How often is a volume a Manga released?!
Question: I just started reading them. I thought they were issued out once a month like regular comics, but I'm not sure now. I just started reading a new one by Tsuneo Takano and Takeshi Obata called Ral Grad. It came out in Feburay and I saw online that volume 2 won't be out until October of this year. Is this right?
If it is, it's gonna be a looooong wait. I wanna know more of what happens.

What you are asking for is the release frequency of manga "volumes." Which take several months to up half a year at times. Depending on the rate of how fast the manga chapters are released & if the mangaka (the author-artist) takes frequent vacations or is just slow.
As volumes are composed of "chapters," those chapters are often released regularly (once a week or month) at manga magazines like Shounen Jump. So if you've "caught up" in the manga volume-wise, you can get the newest material on a chapter by chapter basis in the magazines.
One thing to note that in the Volume editions, mangaka often change things (some minor / major: storyline, art quality, etc.), adds extras (side-stories, parodies, etc.), & other material to make someone go out & buy the "volume" edition.
Some faster ones take a week, For the ones i read ( Naruto)...it comes out every month...>< well for my country it is...its very...tedious.
Normally it takes about 2 months or more.
