There are many anime couples that move fellow anime fans and viewers (LOL!!) Difficult it is to name the "Best", since many are really wonderful together themselves! ^__^
I love Vincent and Lucrecia from Dirge of Cerberus, as well as Cloud and Tifa from FFVII. Esp. I love Vincent, as his devotion and loyal love to Lucrecia is just.....wonderful.
With comedy? Maybe Slam Dunk's Haruko and Sakuragi? Action, basketball and humor altogether.

I also liked Vash for his ardent devotion to Rem. Vash loved Rem, he would certainly do anything to protect her, but he could not and lost the only woman he truly loved. However, despite the terrible loss, Vash is willing to stay true to Rem's principle of love and compassion. His favorite flower is Geranium, the flower of determination, also Rem's favorite flower.
