Depends on the anime. I tend to feel sad when my favorite anime are finished but I always remember how I enjoyed them and keep in mind I can go back and rewatch them. When I finished Neon Genesis Evangelion, in particular, I was pretty damn depressed but it's one of my favorite anime.

After I finish up an anime I often go hunt for fanfiction of it XD

there`s always a little feeling of loss n withdrawal coz you know it`s over, n even when it`s a happy ending, you can`t help but feel sad that there`s no more =( or is that just me ? xD

depends on the ending. If it ends well I would feel satisfied but sad it is over. If it ends bad though I'll regret even wasting my time watching it.

I completely agree. Then every time you start another series you always make comparisons to the last.....(sigh) it sucks to see things end.

a sense of completion and anger. i am always proud of myself for watching every episode but then mad because i know i will miss it. its the same when i finished the series of unfortunate events and the manga, fruits basket. i hate finishing things. =|

I get depessed and feel alone. Like when i finished inuyasha, which took me months, even though i wasn't extremely into it i still felt kinda down. Same with yu yu hakusho, its kind of a dumb anime but i still got pretty into it because it was so long and when i finished i was pretty bumbed. In my opinion, the longer the anime, the more you can get into it, and the more withdrawl you feel when its over then you stop watching it cold turkey.

Ooooooohhh I just finished watching it a week ago as well. I tend to have a fixed feeling of satisfaction and depression. If the anime ended on a good note then I'll be happy but then I'll want more at the same time or I was hoping for the anime to end with the ending I had in mind. For kiba in particular I was a bit confused about the ending / hopeful for another season.

i say a lil of both....depressed if i jus finished an anime wic i enjoyed vry much n crave for more (mayb a second season after a lil gap) but den again a lil bit of satisfaction tat i finished a rrreeeaaalllyyy long anime n i lasted til de end (i get bored somtimes if its vry long so i tak a break, watch som small anime n com bac)....but i guess it totally depends on de endin...if it happy n end as u expected den i feel happy but if its really sad lik de death of ur fav charac or de endin is inappropriat or incomplete (many loose ends left untied) den i stay miserabl lik 4 a weeek :-) ;-)

I'm all like "God that was so long..Finally I finished it!" But if I really liked the anime I would be all like "It's over? Why?!?!" And then I look for a new series to watch.

Well when i am almost done i am happy but when i finish i get sad cause its over.

i agree. i was sad and happy when dragonball gt ended and there would be no more. sob sob. :(
i was happy that it turned out good. it was sad when old pan saw goku and looked 4 him but could no find him. :(

You don't want to see me after I finish watching an anime....
>> I go through so many emotions, it's weird.... o_0

When I finish it my first thoughts "Yay! I'm finally done!" I'm always proud of myself for finishing a series. However then I go through various emotions.

[Edit2] ** Sorry, I never realized that my answers would have spoilers in them about the ending -- read at own risk! **

>> For example, in CardCaptor Sakura when it ended [after the second movie] I was really happy cause Syaoron and Sakura finally confessed and hugged and all. But then I got sad cause I wanted to see their relationship build some more. And then I got angry because I never found out what happened to them after that and I was hoping for a kiss in the end too >=|

>> Another example would be Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, I was so glad that I finished the anime. I was sort of happy for the ending, and then I got mad cause it was a really funny comedy and so much fun to watch. And then I got peeved that they didn't show more on Sunako and Kyouhei's relationship...

**Sigh** I'm like a roller coaster with emotions.... -_-

[Edit] Oo a big example would be Elfen Lied! In the end I was really happy that Lucy wasn't all that evil. But then I became uberly sad cause she left and didn't live with them. Then I felt bad for Kouta on top of it cause Yuka was dumb. And at the same time I felt queasy and weird cause Kurama and Mirako's ends were sweet yet cruel. Arrghh --> I was also pissed at Yuka for being a crybaby and I was furious that Lucy and Kouta's relationship didn't develop! I could go on forever.... >_<

I feel glad that I've finally finished it, but sad it's over :< So a little of both.
If it was really good, I hope for more episodes. Depends on the ending though.

a little bit of both

i am L and justice will prevail.

do U mean kira from killer of death note i like that show too

A little of both satisfaction because you when you finish it you finally het to see what happens to the character but a little depression because its over

When I finish a anime or manga I really like I first feel happy for finishing it then I feel sad because I dont get to see the characters any more and I cant see what happens to the characters and then I find another anime/manga to watch to take my mind off of it.

a bit of both, they always leave me wanting more.

yes....

i fell relieve and felt cool down...but i'm such a curious person soo i will never sit down...!

ooh tough one...well if the story is really good then my mood would be a wee bit down coz the story finished...its like even though you know its finishhed you still want to watch more of it...

When I finish any series, may it be anime, any tv series or even a series of books, I feel so happy and satisfied, especially if it was a nice ending to one of my favorite things.

But immediately after that, I feel really sad because it feels like something's missing from my everyday routine: like when I would regularly watch that show I just finished. :( So I look for some other things to occupy my time...

Now I just wanna say that the best part of watching a really good show is not the beginning or the ending. For me, it's what was in between. The way you wonder about what's going to happen next. The shock you feel when something turns the story around. It's just the simple excitement you feel when you're watching it. :)

i feel proud to myself.......................
and after that i go to my room and dream that i am the protagonist on the anime that i had just finished......
lol.............

Sad ending make me feel very sad and depressed for like 3 weeks

Happy ending make me feel happy-sad and depressed for 3 days.

If the anime is good, I'd watch it again :D

more like both......im satisfied at the ending....*sometimes..*but upset the the series is over...........ESPECIALLY WHEN THE SERIES IS LIKE 10 VOLS.

Yes both...hmmm...I feel sad cuz I have finished it so I need a new one =] and I start a new anime or manga cuz I like manga, too =]

Both. Ichigo 100% :)

Well if a good anime ends i feel like it should have never ended.I think of so many other things that could have happend and so many things that should have never happend.but i get over it after a while

at first i'm like: ''yaaaaaayyyy i'm done watching it''
---but then i'm sad, 'cos i wanna see more!

then i even forget why i was happy & sad lolXD
and start watching something new [=

weird huh??? O.o

both i guess... that is unless it pissed me off with the ending. in which case i scream , curse, and throw the dvd case across the room.... in that order.

After I finish a long anime, 50+ episodes, I feel satisfied in that I have just seen a good anime. I don't feel as much depressed as, dam* now what do I watch. If it's an anime, I absolutely love (you knew this was coming) such as Saiyuki, there is also a sense of emptiness in that the series is over but you want it to continue. I have seen Saiyuki many times over and still love it.

In a way, I guess you could say a little of both satisfaction (you have seen a great anime) and depression (now it's over).

i can finish a 51 episode anime in 2 days
done it
just watched it all day
it was so tiring
haha but yea just shows how addicted i am i guess
i have a sense of satisfaction its like
one down
9039857489 to go
u know aha^_^
