Death Note fans! Near, Melo, or L?!
Question: L is definitely on the top of my list!
as for Near and Melo. if only Near eats chocolate bars like Melo. (more like a hybrid L if that's the case).
and, Melo's real name is Michael Kheel (or something like that), Near's is Nate River. How about L? What is L's real name? I thought i saw them wrote L's name as Lawliet in the movie L Changes the world but i cant be sure.
and also, have you guys watched the japanese death note movies part 1 and 2? how about the death note spin off: L changes the world?

I also liked to movie for the same reason like you. I personally felt that if anyone was going to catch Kira it should be L and not near. L is just far more better than near, and
as for L's name you are correct it is Lawliet. I liked the anime alot but seeing the movie with real actors was awesome. The only thing I have against the anime is that kira got caught by near. why near over L?? L is like one of the most coolest anime characters ever. He acts wierd like the way he holds cell phones or the way he sits but the funny part is that he looks cool doing it.

L is good, and yes his real name is lawliet (pronounced low light).
L is pretty sexy and I don't think anyone could replace him...so he's number one.
Near though is closer to my age in the manga and MelloxMatt is pretty sexy.

Oh yeah, I watched only the movie but i read the manga. I liked the movie.
but the manga was good until Light won and near/mello came along.

Although L is justice but i would prefer Light to win. Light killed a lot of people who ARE criminals. And he is super intelligent. If Light didn't pick up that death note in the first place, he would have become a good leader of Japan.

Yeah, L isn't his real name, it's Lawliet. He just used it so Kira/Light couldn't kill him.
