Roadrunner is like the most delicious creature imaginable to the coyote. He wants to eat it more than anything.
Now, do you know any place in where you can order delicious roadrunner? No- you have to go catch your own.
And certainly the coyote BUYS dinner every once and a while- otherwise he would be dead from starvation after all these years. He just wants to catch the most tasty meal possible.

2. No chasing, no show.
3. No show, no money.
4. No money, no dinner.

It's a vicious cycle...
