You know, I have to agree with you. Naruto has gone WAAAAAY over the top, with people thinking they are reall ninjas. Let me tell you. I'm a legitimate superhero, and ninjas are easy to beat. I'll take Naruto on any day. I've actually seen people wearing jackets, vests, headbands, and gloves just like on the show. GET A LIFE, PEOPLE!!! Anyways, rant's over. Find a better show. Pirates will always beat ninjas.

Give me a few reasons why you are in Comics and Animation if you hate it so much,it's a popular anime it's going to get talked about. Give me a few reasons for that and I may be obliged to answer your question.
But if you want a legitimate reason then here's one;
It's storyline is great, people can relate to atleast one of the characters and it has cool fights. Have you watched it before? Because if you haven't then there is no point in critisizing it until you have some reasons as to why you dislike it.

Btw, The Subbed Is The Better One. Dubbed Is Plain Stupid. Lol. If It's Dubbed Then I Have To Say There Would Be No Reason To Watch It Then. Tee Hee.
Also Btw...*looks around*...Don't Tell Anyone But I Actually Hated Naruto 2 Years Ago...I Watched 5 Episodes And Wanted More Though. It Really Rocks!
Reasons! Wee!! (sorry i'm a bit hyper today):
1. It Gives Me A Sort Of Strength Mentally. It Makes Me Feel Like I Can Do Anything. This Is Because Naruto Is Always Full Of Hope And Strength That It Passes Onto Me.
2. Also There Are A Lot Of Couples That Can Sprout From It. Like SasukeXSakura, NarutoXHinata, and InoXShikamaru. There Are Much More Couples Made Out Of This Anime. Especially Sasuke And Sakura. They make A Really Great Couple. They Even Have Their Own "Moment" In The Episode Where Sasuke Leaves The Villiage. Oh No. I Gave A Spoiler!
3. Also You Can Get A Crush In It. There Are A Lot Of Guys In It. My Crush In It Is Sasuke. Just Look At Him And You'll Melt. *Daydreaming* Ahhh!
4. Also It's Cool To Watch The Fighting. It's Not Just Like Physical Stupid Stuff. It's Sort Of Magical I Think. Lol. Well Not Magical But It Uses This Thing Called Chakra Which Is Sort Of LIke Magic. They All Have A Super Natural Strenght Or Something Amazing About Them.
5. There Abilities Also Make Me Wish I Had Them.
6. Plus, There Is A Lot Of Humor In It At Points. Naruto Has His Funny Moments. It's Not Just Pointless Fighting Cuz That Would be Totally Boring.

Because it has charactors of every kind, and all of them are willing to keep trying to reach their goals. Even tough Sasuke is a little Dork and left them... And I agree with the people before, the dubbed is WAY better than the subbed, though the subbed tends to be funnier for some reason.... I like dubbed better since Naruto isnt always going around screaming "BELIEVE IT!!!" and they dont edit the language... AT ALL...

Honestly, I agreed with you at this very time last year. I caught on to the show almost completely by accident in the Chunin Exam arc and it was on a lot and I just never really stopped watching.
I suppose I like it because the story has been pretty deep, with the main character's plot line and a ton of smaller plots.
Another would be some of the fight scenes and the unique abilities the characters use. While some seem borrowed from other mangas and forms of Japanese animation, never before have I seen so many interesting abilities combined against each other in one show.
I also like the characters, a lot of them are really deep, though their appearance on the surface is anything but.
I've simply enjoyed the way things have developed, and while the story was aimed at kids in their low teens, there are a lot of things that apply to all ages, and Shippuuden is aimed at an older audience with a much more mature and dark plot.
Whatever you do, don't watch the ******* filler, its useless and boring and almost 100 episodes long. (Now playing on Cartoon Network in America.

And last, and probably least, I like that it isn't one of those happy-go-lucky stories where the main character always gets what he needs all the time and everything always ends on a positive note. Numerous characters are viewed as humans rather than ninjas and their deaths are treated as such. Characters close to the main character die (usually going down in a blaze of glory) and there isn't always a happy ending.
Well it depends on your style of anime.If you like sojo or shonen.If you like ALOT of fillers and action and depend talks of tureity then Naruto is your anime.Naruto has a little romance but nat all that much.It has comedy,action,&a little romance.This has it's stupid moments and has some serious ones to.I think it has so far 235 orininga episodes and 54 Shippuuden episodes<Hurricane Chronicles>It has 3 movie out on dvd.The 4th comes out on dvd April 28th.The 5th movie comes to the big screen in the summer.It is a good anime.I hope this helped!
The show is just GREAT...they dont waste time with any episodes...right now they are doing filler episodes to make the timeskip more better....the show has a great story line and unique characters that at least maybe one you can relate to!!
If you watch it it's a good way to meet friends who also watch it. It is the perfect balance of humor and action. Also it can kinda tech you some methods of REAL fighting.
Nobody is making you watch it!.The only reason's I would recommend this show would be because theirs alot of fighting scenes and their's some romance in it.
