Wolverine's claws, adamantium to bone then back again.?!
Question: There was a storyline where the X-Men were fighting Magneto back in the late 80's, early 90's. X-Men PO'd Magneto and he removed the adamantium from Logan's body. Later issues, inthe the late 90's, his adamantium claws are back. I know I didn't follow storyline for a lotta' reas, what happened? Did Marvel just rewrite history, or did I miss something in the years I didn't read X-Men?

Yea, it happened in the early 2000's, It was Apoclypse I believe, at some point Sabertooth had been given an adamantium skeleton and later on Apoclypse planned a fight between Wolverine in which if he won, he would get back his adamantium in which he beat Sabertooth and was given adamantium back. It happened something along those lines, I have some of those, like the fight between Sabertooth and Wolverine. This was all to lead up to the big event involving the 12 mutants or whatever. The details are fuzzy right now since I haven't read it in years.

Apocalypse forced Wolverine to fight Sabretooth (who's body was laced with adamantium) to determine which one of them would become the new Death (Four Horsemen). Wolverine won the fight and Apocalypse transferred the adamantium from Sabretooth's body into Wolverine's.
