In Calvin and Hobbes, is Hobbes really alive but only to Calvin or do things jus!


Question: It's a bit of both. Hobbes is a very real companion to Calvin, though not "alive" in the literal sense since whenever Calvin, Hobbes, and his parents or other people are in the scene, Hobbes appears to all as a stuffed tiger.
