Lol,no he not gay. Is it because of the hair?lol,but seriously no. A lot of times people think that because of his hair (which kind of look like Ino's lol),and the painted nails. Ya,but no he's not gay. The hair his just part of his style and as for the nails,pretty all member of the Akatsuki have painted nails,it's just to show that they are part of the Akatsuki.

Okay, I love him too but I don't think he's gay, per say...I think he's just a bit feminine...you know with the hair and the eyes....I mean his hair is always perfectly styled, plus it's really kinda long, there is the nail polish that looks a bit brighter than the other Akatsuki's nail polish...so yeah he's a TINY bit girly but he's not gay.
I know a lot of people were confused about his gender, they were sure he was a girl but I wouldn't go that far with it, he is undeniably a guy.
Actually, Itachi is also a tiny bit feminine looking, I guess it's the long hair that does it, maybe the eyes that have long lashes...so maybe it's just an Akatsuki thing.
