How many chapters should be in a manga (the minimum)?!

depends how long the chapters are and what genre.
manga like naruto, bleach, inuyaha ect. have around 18 pages per chapter and thus there are usually around 9 chapters per volume.
shojo manga, on the other hand, tend to have legnthy chapters around 50something pages and therefore usually have 3-5 chapters per volume.
Personally, i like the longer chapters better for some reason.
The only type i prefer shorter ones is when im reading manga online. idk why, but it's hard for me to stare at the screen knowing i have to read 50+ pages to finish a chapter...?
but i say anywhere between 4-6 chapters is perfect.

I would say at least 8. They seem to like to pack anywhere from 7 - 10 chapters in a volume usually.
