Toriyama you mean? He's moved on, and so should you.
Akira Toriyama? Why would he need to do that if he's already a multi millionaire in his mid 40's. Manga artists have the right to get sick and tired of a series that took up over 15 years of their life you know.
Besides, look at how crappy GT is. That's what happens when you go out and make sequelitis out of greed. I'm surprised he even bothered to even participate in the character designs.
Quite frankly his old school anime character designs were better. The designs (and frankly everything) in Dragon Quest could beat DBGT anyday.
If you're such a Toriyama fan, you should really go look at his older series. While you need a very special kind of taste to enjoy Dr. Slump (I find it hideously boring), Dragon Quest (aka also known as Dai no Daibouken) is a very, very good action series from the mid 90's which was hugely successful in Mexico. It's such a shame the anime ended in a cliffhanger of the manga. >_<
There are 2 versions of that anime, the one I mention isn't liscensed in the US (quite stupid I think, they really should liscense it), but there's an alternate version of the exact same title that's kind of an obscure anime with a cast of native american indians in a typical Toriyama anime setting. Never seen it myself so I can't say how good it is. Urban legend says it was liscensed ages ago, but never released on dvd or even vhs.
