Mid 70's to Mid 80's was the s*it. The Marvel Midnight Sons books..The rise of the X Men and the dark Phoenix Saga. Spidey's wars with Carnage & Venom and the apex of The Avengers and Fantastic Four are ALL from that time frame.

the early 90's had great story lines in every book until hero's reborn came out , but every thing going on now is great except the death of captain America
I loved the Onslaught saga
I think today is the best period The Outing of Matt Murdock as Daredevil, The Civil War, The Death of Captain America
Everything that had gone on w/ Spider-man...up until One More Day. Marvel took a chance w/ some real bold storylines.
25 years ago I'd never imagine that they would do this to these characters.
Any time that they were smart enough not to hire Rob Liefeld.
